Throat numbing injection may ease recovery after vocal cord surgery

Summary
This study tests whether a numbing injection to the throat during vocal cord surgery can reduce pain, coughing, and help voice recovery afterward. About 28 adults with benign vocal cord growths will receive either the numbing shot or a placebo (salt water). The goal is to see if this simple step improves patient comfort and outcomes after surgery.
