This study reviews medical records of 150 children who had cleft palate surgery to see if a specific nerve block (SZMNB) reduces the need for morphine and shortens hospital stays. The nerve block was introduced in 2017 at a Swedish hospital. Researchers compare children who got standard pain relief alone with those who also received the nerve block.
