Stanford tests simple injection to rescue stroke Patients' brains

NCT ID NCT05230134

Summary

This study is testing if a targeted injection to block nerves in the neck can improve blood flow to the brain in patients who have had a severe type of stroke. The procedure aims to help patients recover better by preventing further brain damage caused by narrowed blood vessels. Researchers will measure changes in blood flow and track patients' neurological recovery over a year.
