New pill may slow lung decline in scarring lung disease

Summary
This study tests a medicine called nerandomilast in adults with a type of lung scarring (fibrosing ILD) that is not IPF. The goal is to see if it can slow down worsening of lung function over a year. About 466 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo, and doctors will measure breathing tests and lung scans to compare results.
