NCT ID NCT07162818

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested whether nepafenac 0.1% eye drops, given before surgery, could lower inflammation in people with retinal detachment. Sixty-one adults with a detached retina and early signs of scarring took part. Researchers measured inflammatory markers in fluid from the eye to see if the drops had an effect. The goal was to gather information that could help prevent vision loss after surgery.
