New skin graft aims to heal stubborn bedsores
NCT ID NCT07158658
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests a special skin graft called NeoThelium FT to see if it can help heal chronic pressure ulcers (bedsores) that won't close on their own. Ten adults with stage 2 or 3 ulcers on the pelvis or leg will receive the graft and be followed for up to 16 weeks. The main goal is complete wound closure, and the study also tracks how much the wound shrinks and how long it stays healed.
