New gadget aims to zap brace bacteria in 30 seconds
NCT ID NCT07355400
Summary
This study is testing a reusable, battery-powered device called the NeoPill to see if it can reduce bacteria in the mouth for people wearing braces. About 15-20 adults with braces will use the device for 30 seconds during a single visit, and researchers will measure bacteria levels before and after. The goal is to see if this mechanical cleaning tool is effective and comfortable, offering a potential new option for oral hygiene with braces.
