Summary
This study tested a new artificial disc called NeoDisc against standard neck fusion surgery (ACDF) in 488 adults with a damaged disc in the neck. The goal was to see if NeoDisc is as safe and effective at reducing pain and disability over two years. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either the new disc or the fusion surgery.
