New drug cocktail shows promise for aggressive stomach cancer before surgery

Summary

This study tests if combining trastuzumab-deruxtecan with other drugs before surgery is safe and works for people with HER2-positive stomach cancer that can be removed. About 36 adults with advanced but resectable cancer will receive the treatment. The goal is to see how many can complete the planned therapy without serious side effects.
