First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests giving focused radiation to brain tumors before surgical removal, aiming to protect healthy brain tissue and possibly eliminate the need for radiation after surgery. About 25 adults with brain metastases (tumors that spread from other cancers) will receive different radiation doses to find the safest and most effective one. Researchers will monitor side effects and tumor control.
