First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving chemotherapy plus the immunotherapy drug Tislelizumab before surgery can shrink advanced rectal cancer and improve outcomes. About 35 adults with stage T3 or T4 rectal cancer will receive the combination for three cycles, then have surgery. Researchers will monitor how many patients have a complete response (no cancer detectable) and track safety and long-term results.
