First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving chemotherapy before surgery (instead of after) can help prevent colon cancer from returning. It involves 708 adults with locally advanced colon cancer that has not spread to other organs. The goal is to see if this approach improves how long patients stay cancer-free and reduces the chance of cancer cells spreading during surgery.
