Summary
This study tested whether giving the immunotherapy drug atezolizumab alone for two weeks before starting chemotherapy could improve outcomes for people with triple-negative breast cancer. The trial enrolled 442 participants and compared this approach to starting atezolizumab and chemotherapy together. The study was stopped early, and the main goal was to see if the cancer disappeared completely after treatment.
