New drug duo aims to wipe out hidden leukemia cells

Summary
This study tests two oral drugs, nemtabrutinib and venetoclax, given together as the first treatment for people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). The goal is to see if the combination can clear even the tiniest traces of cancer from the blood. About 25 adults who have not had prior treatment for their CLL/SLL will take part.
