Poking holes for pigment: can needling beat vitiligo?
NCT ID NCT06991972
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 37 times
Summary
This study tests two similar procedures—needling and microneedling—both followed by narrowband UVB light therapy, to see which works better at bringing back skin color in people with stable non-segmental vitiligo. Eighty adults aged 15 to 60 who have had vitiligo for over a year will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The main goal is to see if at least 25% of the white patches regain color after 12 weeks.
