First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested a treatment called percutaneous needle electrolysis for people with long-term pain in the tendon that supports the foot arch. 46 adults with at least 3 months of pain received either the needle treatment or a sham procedure. Researchers measured pain levels and foot function before and after treatment to see if the electrical needle helps reduce pain and improve daily activities.
