Can your Neck's 'Internal GPS' affect how you feel pain?
NCT ID NCT06559397
Summary
This study aimed to understand if errors in a person's ability to sense their head position (neck proprioception) are linked to their general body awareness and sensitivity to pain. Researchers tested 60 healthy young adults, measuring their head position sense and then assessing their pain thresholds and body awareness via questionnaires. The goal was to gather knowledge, not to provide any treatment.
