First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026

Summary

This study compares two types of ultrasound-guided injections for people with chronic neck pain caused by small joints in the spine (facet joints). 130 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either a standard nerve block or a newer block targeting a different muscle layer. The goal is to see if the newer block provides similar short-term pain relief and better function.
