First seen Mar 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests if a nebulized (mist) form of tranexamic acid, a drug that helps blood clot, can reduce bleeding during sinus surgery. About 90 adults undergoing sinus surgery will receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if it makes the surgery easier for the surgeon and safer for the patient.
