Summary

This study tests whether shining a special near-infrared light on the head can boost brain cell activity and help protect the brain in people with early to mid-stage dementia. One hundred participants aged 50-85 will receive light treatments over 8 weeks. Researchers will measure memory, thinking, and brain wave changes to see if the light therapy is feasible and helpful.
