New hope for preventing Post-Surgery nausea in ear operations
NCT ID NCT07371728
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a medication called aprepitant before surgery helps reduce nausea and vomiting after middle ear operations. Researchers will compare aprepitant plus standard anti-nausea drugs against standard drugs alone in 100 adult patients. The goal is to see if this combination provides better relief from this common and uncomfortable side effect.
