Park prescription: three outdoor sessions boost stress resilience in workers

NCT ID NCT07601360

First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether three one-hour nature-based group sessions (mindful walking, gentle movement, nature observation, breathing exercises, and group reflection) could improve stress resilience in full-time employees. 160 participants in Hong Kong were randomly assigned to either attend these sessions at a park or continue their usual routines. The researchers measured heart rate variability, blood pressure, and stress questionnaires to see if the nature activities helped.
