New shot aims to tame painful arthritis flares

NCT ID NCT06590090

Summary

This study is testing whether a new injectable drug called Natrunix, when added to standard methotrexate treatment, can better control the symptoms of moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis. About 108 adults whose arthritis isn't well-controlled on methotrexate alone will receive either the new injection or a placebo for 14 weeks, followed by an option for everyone to try the new drug. The main goal is to see if it reduces joint pain and swelling more effectively.
