Summary
This study looked at two different breathing machines used to help newborn babies with breathing trouble. The goal was to see if a newer device called nasal high frequency percussive ventilation (nHFPV) is as well-tolerated as the standard nasal CPAP machine. The study included 49 babies born at 33 weeks or later. Researchers measured brain oxygen levels to compare comfort between the two devices.
