NCT ID NCT06626477

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested a device that gently stimulates the inside of the nose to see if it can help people with Sjogren's syndrome produce more tears. 26 adults with severe dry eyes used either a real or a fake device at home three times a week for six weeks, then everyone used the real device for another six weeks. The goal was to check if the treatment is safe and improves tear production.
