First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether adding a decongestant nasal spray for the first 5 days to standard steroid spray helps children aged 4–18 with persistent allergic rhinitis. 76 children participated, comparing the combination to steroid spray alone over 4 weeks. The goal was to see if the combo improves symptoms, nasal airflow, quality of life, and medication adherence.
