Diabetes drug tested as nasal spray for spinal cord injury recovery
NCT ID NCT07384052
Summary
This early-stage study is checking if insulin, delivered as a nasal spray, is safe for people with spinal cord injuries. Researchers will enroll 12 participants who will use either the insulin spray or a placebo spray daily for up to 24 days at home. The main goal is to see if this approach is safe and practical, as a first step toward possibly developing it as a future treatment.
