Simpler dental implant option tested to avoid bone graft surgery

NCT ID NCT06221306

Summary

This study is comparing two types of dental implants for people missing back teeth who have narrow jawbones. It aims to see if using a thinner 'narrow diameter' implant works as well as a standard implant, which often requires an extra bone grafting surgery. Researchers will measure bone loss around the implants and track any complications over time.
