NCT ID NCT07246395
First seen Nov 28, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a type of family therapy called Narrative Family Therapy can improve communication and well-being in families of children with autism (ages 8-18). Some families receive the therapy, while others play games designed to reflect family dynamics. Researchers use brain scans and body sensors to see if therapy changes brain activity and reduces stress. The goal is to understand how family interactions affect autism, not to cure it.
