NCT ID NCT04832282

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests a new device called Napoleon that helps doctors measure the size of the connection between the stomach and small intestine in people who had gastric bypass surgery and later regained weight. About 100 patients will have the connection measured both by the doctor's eye and with the Napoleon device during a routine endoscopy. The goal is to see if Napoleon gives more accurate measurements, which could help guide better treatment for weight regain.
