Summary
This study looks at whether a score based on routine blood tests (the Naples Prognostic Score) can predict postoperative delirium—sudden confusion—in older adults after hip fracture surgery. Researchers will enroll 168 patients aged 60 and older and check for delirium daily using a standard assessment. The goal is to identify high-risk patients early to improve care.
