Summary
This study tested whether placing a nano-crystalline silver membrane on gums after surgical removal of dark pigment helps them heal faster and with less pain. Twelve adults with moderate to severe gum pigmentation took part. Results suggest the membrane may improve healing and reduce discomfort compared to surgery alone.
