New hope for cancer patients: drug eases Opioid-Related constipation

Summary

This study tests how well naldemedine works for constipation caused by opioid painkillers in cancer patients. About 100 adults with cancer who take opioids and still have constipation despite laxatives will receive naldemedine. Researchers will track symptom changes and patient experiences to see if this gut-specific opioid blocker improves daily life.
