Stanford tests common supplement to calm Autism's repetitive behaviors

Summary
This study is testing whether N-acetylcysteine (NAC), a nutritional supplement, can help reduce repetitive behaviors in children with autism. Researchers will give 144 children either NAC or a placebo for 12 weeks to see if it makes a difference. The goal is to see if this safe, accessible supplement can ease some challenging autism symptoms.
