Summary
This study tests whether omega-3 fatty acid supplements can reduce the risk of preterm labor and help pregnant women who smoke cut back or quit. Researchers will enroll 400 pregnant smokers between 12 and 24 weeks of pregnancy. Participants will receive either omega-3 supplements or a placebo, and the study will track both pregnancy outcomes and changes in smoking behavior.
