Robotic 'Muscle Suit' aims to get spinal injury patients back on their feet

NCT ID NCT05605912

Summary

This study tested whether a lightweight robotic suit called the Myosuit could help people with incomplete spinal cord injury walk more in their daily lives. Thirty-four participants used the suit at home for six weeks to see if it increased their walking time and improved their walking speed. The goal was to see if this wearable technology could break the cycle of inactivity and help improve mobility.
