New glasses lenses aim to stop nearsightedness in kids

Summary
This study tests whether special glasses lenses can prevent nearsightedness (myopia) in children aged 6 to 8. About 255 children will wear either a new type of lens or a standard lens for at least 8 hours a day for one year. Researchers will check how their eyes change over time and if the lenses are safe.
