New lens design aims to slow Kids' worsening eyesight

Summary
This study tests whether special glasses with an open-ring design can slow down nearsightedness (myopia) in children aged 6 to 12. About 180 kids will wear one of three lens types for 12 to 24 months. The goal is to see which lens best reduces the eye's lengthening that causes worsening vision.
