First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests two new daily disposable contact lenses designed to slow the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children aged 7 to 12. Over two years, 126 Hong Kong Chinese children will wear either a study lens or standard single vision lenses, with their eyesight and eye length checked every six months. The goal is to see if these lenses can better control myopia compared to regular contact lenses.
