New registry monitors birth defect risks from transplant drug

This study is a pregnancy registry that collects information from pregnant women who have taken mycophenolate (a drug used after organ transplants or for autoimmune diseases). The goal is to better understand the risks of birth defects and pregnancy complications linked to this medication. Researchers will follow mothers and their babies for one year after birth. The study does not test a new treatment but gathers safety data required by the FDA.
