Musicians' pain under the microscope: new study seeks answers

Summary
This study aims to find out how common playing-related muscle and joint problems are among instrumental musicians. Researchers will survey 450 musicians (both professional and hobbyist) about their pain and how it affects their daily life and playing. The goal is to better understand these issues, not to test a treatment.
