Calming tunes for dental fears: can music make fillings less stressful?
NCT ID NCT07173491
Summary
This study is testing whether listening to music during routine dental fillings can help reduce anxiety in adults who get nervous at the dentist. Researchers will enroll 75 adults with moderate to high dental anxiety and randomly assign them to different groups. They will measure anxiety levels, stress hormones in saliva, and vital signs like heart rate before and after the dental procedure to see if music makes a difference.
