NCT ID NCT07560384
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether listening to music through headphones can help lower anxiety in patients who have been on a breathing machine for more than 21 days. These patients often feel very stressed, which can make it harder to recover. The study will involve 200 adults over 50, who will either get standard care or also listen to music for 30 minutes twice a day for two weeks. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety, pain, and sleep quality.
