NCT ID NCT05868811
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a music enrichment program could improve how parents and babies interact, reduce a baby's motivation for food (which is linked to obesity risk), and improve the language environment at home. 18 families with infants aged 9-24 months from low-income backgrounds took part. Families were randomly assigned to either weekly music classes or play groups for two 8-week sessions, and researchers measured outcomes like parent-child interaction quality, food motivation, and conversational turns.
