First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether playing music or using a musical mobile can reduce pain and stress in infants when their chest tube is removed after heart surgery. About 54 babies aged 2 to 12 months will be randomly assigned to hear music, watch a musical mobile, or receive standard care. Researchers will measure pain scores, heart rate, and oxygen levels to see if these calming interventions help.
