Summary
This study looks at whether listening to music can help reduce anxiety in people having outpatient surgery for the first time. Researchers will measure anxiety levels, heart rate, blood pressure, and heart rate variability in 90 adults. Participants will either listen to their own chosen music or a standard playlist, and the effects will be compared before, during, and after surgery.
