NCT ID NCT07299214

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at whether playing music for pregnant women during a non-stress test (a routine check of the baby's heartbeat) could improve their comfort, vital signs, and anxiety. 173 women took part. The researchers measured comfort and anxiety using questionnaires and checked blood pressure and heart rate. The goal was to see if a simple, relaxing addition like music could make the test a better experience.
