Ultrasound reveals hidden muscle clues in kids with cerebral palsy

NCT ID NCT07118228

First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at children with spastic cerebral palsy to see if ultrasound images of their muscles can predict how well they move. Researchers will measure muscle thickness, stiffness, and blood flow, then compare these to standard movement tests. The goal is to find better ways to plan personalized therapy. About 36 children aged 4 to 18 who can walk with or without help will take part.
