First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether arm and leg muscle strength influences daily activities, social participation, and quality of life in school-age children with cerebral palsy (CP). Researchers measured muscle strength in 140 children (ages 6–12) with CP and compared them to typically developing peers. The goal was to understand how strength relates to function, not to test a treatment.
