Summary
This study looks at how to measure muscle strength in healthy people and patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). Muscle strength is important for health, and weak muscles can mean higher risk of death for ICU patients. The researchers will use handheld devices to measure strength and create standard values for the Brazilian population. About 180 adults aged 18 to 90 will take part.
